PLAYERS' RULES FOR 2020

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT KTC, &
HOW TO PLAY WHILE OBSERVING SOCIAL DISTANCING PROTOCOLS

Player procedure for arrival, play and departure from the courts:

  • Court Access: Players may enter and exit the courts using all gates as follows:

    • Court 1:                      Gate 1​

    • Courts 2 and 3:      Gate 2

    • Courts 4 and 5:      Gate 3

  • Five minutes prior to the booked court time, players may line up at their entry gate

  • If arriving earlier, players shall proceed to the designated waiting area on the grass outside of Gate 2.

  • Players shall use the sanitation stations available at each entry gate upon entering and exiting the court/

  • Players are encouraged to social distance when passing each other on the courts where bookings end/begin at the same time.

  • Players must sanitize the court chairs upon arrival and/or departure by using the spray sanitizer available on each court.

  • Staff will monitor court bookings and will direct or assist members as required.

  • All players must bring their own can of balls and mark them, as each person will serve only their own balls. Return balls to each other without using your hands, i.e. with feet and racquet.

  • All players must bring their own water, towels, etc. KTC will not be refilling water bottles but players may purchase bottled water in the club provided they have a balance in their Club Credit account.

  • All players must stay at least 2 meters apart at all times, with the exception of cohabiting players such as family members who are living together.

  • Players should kindly dispose of all garbage upon exiting the court.

DOUBLES:

  • All courts are open for doubles play.

 

PLEASE co-operate fully with KTC staff. If you have a disagreement with a staff member or feedback in general, please escalate your concern to a member of the KTC Board of Directors by emailing info@kildonantennisclub.ca.

IMPORTANT:  Members must not enter the courts if:

  1. You have returned from outside of Manitoba in the last 14 days.

  2. You are under direction to self-monitor or self-isolate

  3. You are experiencing any cold/flu symptoms (cough, fever, runny nose, sore throat, weakness, headache)
